Educational only. Content is for education; it is not legal, tax, or financial advice. Independent attorneys provide legal services, and you may choose your own counsel.

2) Key definitions

  • Personal information / personal data: information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked with a particular person or household.

  • Controller / Business: entity that determines the purposes and means of processing personal information.
  • Processor / Service provider: entity that processes personal information on behalf of a controller/business.

3) What we collect

A. Information you provide directly

  • Inquiry details (name, email, message content).
  • Application form responses via Google Forms (profile details you choose to share for an eligibility review).
  • Communications (emails you send us).

Please do not submit highly sensitive data (e.g., SSN, bank numbers) via open fields.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device & usage data: browser/OS type and version, referring pages, approximate location by IP-derived city/region, pages viewed, timestamps.
  • Cookies & similar technologies for essential features (e.g., remembering consent) and—if you opt in—analytics/measurement.

C. Optional analytics/measurement (post-consent)

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4): event-based analytics; GA4 does not log IP addresses. Signals may be enabled/disabled in our account settings.
  • Microsoft Clarity: heatmaps and session insights with masking.
  • Meta Pixel (if enabled): ad measurement/attribution for our campaigns.

4) How we use information

  • Operate and secure the Site; prevent fraud and abuse.

  • Comply with law, enforce terms, and protect our rights.

5) Legal bases for processing (EEA/UK)

  • Consent: analytics, session insights, and ad measurement load only after your opt-in.
  • Legitimate interests: essential website operations, security, and responding to inbound requests.
  • Contract: when we communicate with you at your request.
  • Legal obligation: to comply with applicable law.
